President for our centenary year
The President of the Rotary Club of Southampton for its Centenary Year will be Nick Vaughan.
Nick has lived and worked in the Southampton area for the past 45 years and is married to Karen. He is the Senior Partner of Paris Smith solicitors and specialises in Commercial Property, Charities and Education work.
Nick has been a trustee and governor of a number of local charities and schools. Currently, he is the Chair of Thorner's Homes, a local almshouse association; Governor of schools, in particular with behavioural and emotional and other special needs; a trustee of the Mayflower Theatre and formerly an Assistant Governor of Rotary International. He is also the Chair of the Friends of St Nicolas Church North Stoneham.
Nick has sung with a number of musical and opera groups in Hampshire and Dorset and has been musical director for various local societies. He sings and plays the piano and organ.
2018 will be a busy year for Nick with his firm celebrating 200 years of legal practice in Southampton and Rotary Club of Southampton preparing to celebrate its centenary year as well!
